June 12th Update

To our friends, colleagues and community,

We want to share an update regarding Jamie. She has been placed on Hospice. The doctors have informed her family that her transition is expected to happen very soon. We want to again, express our deep gratitude for your generous contributions, a portion of which will be used for covering her rent, and the remainder will go towards funeral home expenses.

Your kindness has made a significant difference during this difficult journey. As we anticipate her passing, we want to offer you words of solace. Remember that your support and compassion brought light to Jamie and her family during this time.

As of now, her family does not have any requests for specific items. If you wish, you may bring cash donations to the facility 6500 Kirby Gate Blvd, Memphis, TN. Additionally, if you have any photos of Jamie please provide them so they may be included in her obituary. If you would like to visit, Jamie is at Baptist in Hospice room 5373.

We are thrilled to inform you that, thanks to your contributions, we have surpassed our goal. The GoFundMe and in-house cash donations totaled over $3000. Jamie's father shed tears of appreciation as he accepted your donations that will go toward Jamie's rent, utilities, and supplies.

We extend our deepest thanks to our extraordinary family at The Waters of Memphis. To our dedicated administrator, Kristian, your support and guidance have been instrumental in making this endeavor a success. To Keena, our remarkable Activities Director, the exceptional activities team, Ashley and Rochester, Chris, our Director of Dining, his incredible team and Leo and Mr. Martino, your contributions to Jamie's campaign have been truly inspiring. May 27th Update:

We wanted to take a moment to share an update on Jamie's situation and express our deepest gratitude for your generous support throughout our fundraiser.

Over the past week, Jamie has been staying with her parents to ensure she isn't alone while her husband continues to work. Jamie has undergone dialysis this week, and her next chemo treatment is soon. Jamie’s unwavering spirit and positive outlook have been an inspiration to all of us.

Our recent efforts have been filled with moments of joy and togetherness. Last week, we organized a fun race and a fish fry, both of which brought us together and contributed significantly to our ongoing efforts.
