Hope floats, checks do not. Aaron needs some help

Donation protected

Aaron rarely asks for help from others.  Aaron is the kind of person that is there to help you in an instant and see it through to the end but it is hard to think of a time that he has asked for help for himself, directly.

Aaron needs some help and we are reaching out in hopes that, together, we can make a difference in his life.

Aaron, at just 47, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.  Unfortunately, it is aggressive and had metastasized , spreading to his liver, lymph nodes and his lungs.  The cancer in his colon have spread from the tumors and into the muscle and tissues around them so they cannot be removed. Despite second and third opinions from specialists in the field, the prognosis remains terminal.

Aaron is a fighter and will battle this with everything he has.  He has already had a couple surgeries and has started a second round of aggressive chemotherapy in hopes of slowing the spread of the cancers and alleviating his pain.

Aaron has a 15 year old daughter and watching her deal with his illness has been one of the most difficult things for him to endure.  Thankfully, he is blessed with a truly sincere and loving emotional and spiritual support team.  Aaron has a strong family that provides him with the kind of positive and supportive structure that allows him to focus on living, fighting and healing.

Aaron loves his work in the food service industry and has always jumped in headfirst and swinging towards being successful and earning the respect of his co workers.

His co workers say that he is always friendly, upbeat and positive.  They tell of a guy who is always on time, works hard side by side with his team and volunteers to do the "icky stuff".

Aaron served in both the Marines and the Army (active and reserve) and co workers mentioned that he always represents his pride in his  service with a lapel pin, tie clasp or hat and demonstrates it in his work ethic.

Medical bills and reduced income are a constant source of stress. Making ends meet has become one of his biggest worries.

We would like to raise enough money to ensure that these stresses are reduced. These next months of treatments are going to be very difficult for him physically and emotionally.

We hope that this campaign will be just the thing he needs to support him in his battle. Since his diagnosis, we are continually humbled and appreciative of the support of so many people who care about him.
