Having been a part of the Ruth’s Chris Steak House family since they opened their doors, Skot Harville has recently been overwhelmed with illness, both personally and within his immediate family. Skot, who has an ongoing heart condition, unexpectedly lost his mother, Marcia, soon after discovering his wife, Brenda, was diagnosed with lung cancer. Brenda recently completed her fourth round of chemotherapy, and will now recover for 12 weeks followed by a PET scan. 

The money donated will be used to pay for medical expenses and to assist the family of three, including their son Argus, with daily living expenses.

“Everyone who comes through our doors knows Skot, and loves him,” said Mike Sable, Ruth’s Chris’ General Manager. “Not only is Skot our Beverage Manager, but his tenure with our company is far reaching, having been with Ruth’s Chris since we opened our doors in 2006. This event is being held in response to an incredible outpouring of patron requests, which is a true testament to how deserving the Harvilles are.”
