My name is Rozana, and I am 23 years old, living in Gaza. I want to share my story with you, a story of survival, resilience and a hope that refuses to die despite the harsh reality around me.

Since the day I was born, I have known nothing but the struggles of life in Gaza. Poverty, deprivation, and daily hardship are a constant part of our existence. But despite these challenges, I have always held onto the hope of a better future, a life where I could chase my dreams beyond these walls.

Just before the war, I was one month away from completing my studies in Information Technology, focusing on programming. Learning was my passion and I had dreams of becoming a programmer, building a future for myself and my family. But when the war struck, everything changed. The occupation took away not just our home but my dreams, my future, and even the little things that brought joy, like our beloved pets, who were also lost in the destruction. What remains is only the rubble of what once was, and we are left displaced, forced to live in a crowded camp, sharing a tent with over 20 people.

Where we once had the comfort of a warm home, we now face cold winters and endless uncertainty. The shelter that once provided us security is gone and we endure the bitter cold with no real walls or roof to protect us.

Yet, in the midst of all this devastation, I still hold onto hope. My long-awaited dream is to leave Gaza and build a new life, a life filled with the opportunities that were taken away from me. However, due to the dire economic circumstances, I am unable to afford the cost of travel, accommodation, and the basic necessities for survival.

This is where I humbly ask for your help. We are aiming to raise €50,000 to not only cover my costs but also to help my family escape this ongoing nightmare. This amount will be used for:

Basic living necessities in Gaza: With the siege on Gaza, even food and essentials are hard to come by. Your support will help us buy what we need to survive while we're still here.

Travel costs: It costs at least €8,000 just to leave Gaza. I also want to help my family find safety and escape with me.

New accommodations: Once we are out of Gaza, we will need to find a place to stay and rebuild our lives from scratch.

Depuis ma naissance, je n'ai connu que des épreuves à Gaza. La pauvreté, la privation et les difficultés quotidiennes font partie intégrante de notre existence. Malgré ces défis, j'ai toujours gardé l'espoir d'un avenir meilleur, d’une vie où je pourrais poursuivre mes rêves au-delà de ces murs.

Juste avant la guerre, il ne me restait qu'un mois pour terminer mes études en Développement Web. Apprendre était ma passion et j'avais des rêves de devenir développeuse, de construire un avenir pour moi et ma famille. Mais lorsque la guerre a éclaté, tout a changé. L'occupation a détruit non seulement notre maison, mais aussi mes rêves, mon avenir et même les petites choses qui nous apportaient de la joie, comme nos animaux de compagnie, qui ont également péri dans la destruction. Il ne reste que des ruines de ce qui était autrefois notre vie et nous sommes désormais déplacés, contraints de vivre dans un camp surpeuplé, partageant une tente avec plus de 20 personnes.

Là où nous avions autrefois le confort d'une maison chaleureuse, nous faisons maintenant face à des hivers rigoureux et à une incertitude sans fin. L'abri qui nous offrait autrefois la sécurité a disparu et nous endurons le froid sans murs ni toit réels pour nous protéger.

Pourtant, au milieu de toute cette destruction, je garde encore de l'espoir. Mon rêve de toujours est de quitter Gaza et de construire une nouvelle vie, une vie remplie des opportunités qui m'ont été arrachées. Cependant, en raison des circonstances économiques désastreuses, je ne peux pas me permettre de payer les frais de voyage, d'hébergement et les nécessités de base pour survivre.

C'est pourquoi je fais appel à votre générosité. Nous cherchons à récolter 50 000 € pour couvrir mes frais et pour aider ma famille à échapper à ce cauchemar continu.

Cette somme sera utilisée pour :

Les besoins de premières nécessité pour vivre : avec l’occupation à Gaza, même la nourriture et les produits essentiels sont difficiles à obtenir et coûtent extrêmement cher. Votre soutien nous aidera à acheter ce dont nous avons besoin pour survivre tant que nous sommes encore ici.

Frais de voyage : Il faut au moins 8 000 € juste pour quitter Gaza. Si les frontières s’ouvrent de nouveau, je veux aider ma famille à trouver la sécurité à l’extérieur de Gaza.

Nouvelle vie : une fois que nous serons sortis de Gaza, nous devrons trouver un endroit où rester et reconstruire nos vies à partir de zéro.

منذ ولادتي، لم أعرف سوى الصعوبات في غزة. الفقر، الحرمان، والمشاق اليومية جزء لا يتجزأ من حياتنا. ورغم هذه التحديات، كنت دائمًا متمسكة بالأمل في مستقبل أفضل، حياة أستطيع فيها تحقيق أحلامي خارج هذه الجدران.

قبل اندلاع الحرب، كان يتبقى لي شهر واحد فقط على إتمام دراستي في مجال تطوير الويب. كان التعلم شغفي، وكنت أحلم بأن أصبح مطورة ويب، لأبني مستقبلًا لي ولعائلتي. لكن عندما اندلعت الحرب، تغير كل شيء. الاحتلال لم يدمر منزلنا فقط، بل دمر أيضًا أحلامي ومستقبلي، وحتى الأشياء الصغيرة التي كانت تجلب لنا السعادة، مثل حيواناتنا الأليفة التي فقدناها في الدمار. الآن لم يبقَ سوى الأنقاض من حياتنا السابقة، وقد أصبحنا مشردين، مجبرين على العيش في مخيم مكتظ، نتشارك خيمة مع أكثر من 20 شخصًا.

حيث كان لدينا سابقًا دفء منزل مريح، نواجه الآن شتاءً قاسيًا وعدم يقين مستمر. الملجأ الذي كان يوفر لنا الأمان قد زال، ونحن نتحمل البرد بدون جدران أو سقف حقيقي يحمياننا.

ورغم كل هذا الدمار، لا زلت أتمسك بالأمل. حلمي الدائم هو مغادرة غزة وبناء حياة جديدة مليئة بالفرص التي سُلبت مني. ولكن بسبب الظروف الاقتصادية المأساوية، لا أستطيع تحمل تكاليف السفر، الإقامة، واحتياجات الحياة الأساسية للبقاء.

لهذا السبب، أطلب مساعدتكم وكرمكم. نسعى لجمع 50,000 يورو لتغطية تكاليفي ولمساعدة عائلتي على الهروب من هذا الكابوس المستمر.
