Hope Beyond Borders: Rescuing my Family from Gaza

Donation protected
I am Amal from Palestine, who separated from my family due to the war, and I couldn't return home, and I am reaching out to you to share with you a message about the suffering of my family in North Gaza.

Your support can offer them a lifeline from the harrowing conditions they've endured in North Gaza and pave the way for a brighter future. The funds we gather will cover expenses associated with border crossings, coordination fees, and transportation, while also providing vital financial assistance to sustain living expenses in Egypt for several months.

Every contribution counts. The more funds we gather, the more family members we can rescue from the dire circumstances they face. In the event that the donations fall short of enabling us to rescue an adult and a child, the remaining funds will be allocated towards meeting their daily survival needs.

The cost of basic goods in North Gaza has skyrocketed, making essentials unattainable for many. Flour now costs $600 per 25-kilo bag, compared to the usual $10-15, and salt is priced at $4-5 per kilo, up from $1, It is not always available, and it is rare, In addition to the scarcity of infant formula.

Your generosity directly impacts our ability to secure these basic necessities and ensure the safety and well-being of my family. Your assistance is greatly appreciated and will make a profound difference in their lives.

Thank you for considering our plea for help during this challenging time.

" Dear Friends,

I trust this message finds you in good health and spirits.

With a heavy heart, I reach out to you today seeking assistance for my family, who are enduring immense hardship in North Gaza. Since October 7th, 2023, when the war commenced, they have been trapped in a never-ending nightmare. For 6 agonizing months, they have lived in constant fear, uncertain of what each day may bring.
And to help me reunite with them after we were separated because of the war.

Our family, consisting of over 28 members 14" " of them are children, is facing unimaginable challenges:

My parents, Khaled (66 years old), who suffers from heart disease and hypertension, and Fayqa (62 years old), who battles diabetes and problems with the heart and vision, difficulty in movement, struggle to navigate the chaos of war at their age.

My brother Akram (26 years old) and his wife recently welcomed their first child, Sally, who fainted while still a baby, who is just one month old. They are unable to procure suitable infant formula to feed her, and despite their efforts to remain resilient, the situation is overwhelming.

Yousef (31 years old), my other brother, and he has 3 children, and his wife had their third child shortly before the war. He lost his home and became homeless. He confided in me that he cannot find medication for his child, who is suffering from a high fever. The thought of their suffering breaks my heart.

Then there's Abdulla (33 years old) with he wife, and his two children , who have already endured so much, And he lost his home and became homeless.

My sister Kholoud (37 years old) and her husband Ghassan, along with their four children, are also facing similar hardships as they strive to survive.

Arig (35 years old), another sister, tragically lost her son, Fayez, due to the war. She now cares for their three other children, including one son who is hospitalized due to severe dehydration caused by lack of food and fluids. Her anguish is palpable, and my heart goes out to her.

The pain deepens knowing that my sister has suffered such an irreparable loss.

Nisma (27 years old), my youngest sister, along with her husband and son, has faced numerous challenges. She is far from her family, isolated and alone in Rafah, sits in a tent, a city overwhelmed by those seeking refuge from the horrors of war. The situation is especially perilous for children.

Since the onset of the conflict, they have been displaced, seeking safety in various locations, including UNRWA schools, hospitals, and refugee camps, yet finding no respite.

I had to leave Gaza nearly six months ago and have been unable to return, remaining distant from my family, and my children who lost their father. Enduring the toughest of circumstances, my heart was broken.

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in their lives, particularly for the children, who are the most vulnerable to the ravages of war.
Not only that, but you will also be part of our story and help us reunite the family once again..

The story is not over yet ... Be a part of it

With your assistance, we can offer them a chance to escape the horrors they've endured and build a brighter future.

Please, let's come together to provide aid and relief to my family and do whatever we can to help save these innocent lives, In their hard hour your generosity will offer them a lifeline.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and considering supporting our cause.
Your kindness will have a profound impact on my family's well-being.
