After multiple years of struggling with infertility, the Aiello family will begin IVF treatments in April 2026.
Hello friends and family,
My husband, Jon, and I are humbly asking for your help as we take what is likely our final opportunity to start a family.
For the last few years, we have walked the painful road of infertility. Our desire to become parents has never wavered, but this journey has been emotionally exhausting and filled with setbacks. Infertility is a path filled with waiting, unanswered questions, and moments of heartbreak that are often invisible to the outside world.
After countless appointments, negative pregnancy tests, surgery, and so much emotional endurance, we are now taking a brave step forward through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization)—a step filled with both vulnerability and hope. IVF offers a possibility of the family we have long dreamed of to have baby Aiello.
Asking for help does not come easily, but we believe God places people in community so that we can support one another in moments like this. This is our moment of need.
We did a round of IUI, but unfortunately, the procedure was unsuccessful.
After exhausting all other medical options, in vitro fertilization (IVF) is now our only remaining path to having a biological child.
The truth is, IVF is expensive.
Each round of IVF costs approximately $20,000-$30,000, with no guarantee of a positive outcome. Even with careful saving, the costs stack up quickly: medications, appointments, procedures, and follow-up care. While thankful that California law mandates health insurance policies to cover infertility treatment, the specifics of this coverage vary dramatically between plans. Our insurance covers a large portion of the cost but not everything, and we’ve reached a point where we need your support.
Out-of-pocket costs such as Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT), which is used to screen embryos for genetic disorders and chromosomal abnormalities prior to transfer, cost approximately $6,500, and that’s PER cycle. Medications also represent one of the biggest expenses we will encounter. IVF patients should anticipate spending between $2,000-$7,000 per cycle on medications, and the list goes on and on.
This is why we are reaching out for your help at this time—please consider contributing to our journey to parenthood with a small donation!
Whether you choose to donate, share this story, or simply keep us in your thoughts, your kindness means everything.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for standing with us in hope. Your support reminds me that we are not alone—and that even in the waiting, there is so much love. Baby Aiello, you are so wanted and loved.
Thanks again for reading and for being part of our journey.
With gratitude,
Amber and Jon Aiello
