Dearest Family, Friends & Loved ones,

I am here to offer a solution for the helplessness we all feel surrounding how to support our Gina.

I have toiled with many attempts and ways to write this, apprehensively writing and re-writing, then a friend gently reminded me that this actually needs no explanation or consideration of words, as we... ‘get it’ and it's a privilege to be able to at least try to help in some way.

At one stage or another, we have all said and thought, “...if there's anything we can do, don't hesitate to ask…” We know we have all had strict instructions to lay off the sending of flowers and gift-giving blah blah blah, so instead of giving £20 to Interflora to make Steven sneeze, maybe that donation could go here.

As you can imagine, she venomously opposes this type of help; regardless of this and with the blessing of her brother Marty and family; I am here to unapologetically not listen to her wishes and ask you for a small contribution to go towards her well being, treatments & therapies.

It is, of course, entirely your prerogative but I am not here to ask for grand amounts as it’s not yet clear what alternate treatments Gina & Steven want to explore, but in pooling together our starter fund, this will hopefully offer Ginas more choice and give them less of a reason to ‘have to’ prioritise which direction to take.

Please feel free to stay anonymous if it’s more comfortable doing it that way, but please rest assured that your support will be noted and I intend to let you know where your contributions have helped Gina through this unimaginable time.

Again, I know there is no need for me to say this out loud but for the ‘Gina voice’ pecking my head, please know respectfully and with love, there is absolutely zero obligation to donate.
