Support Morgan Espinoza’s Fight Against Stage IV Cancer
The Story
On behalf of the Espinoza/Gonzales family, we are reaching out to ask for your support, prayers, and strength for our beloved Morgan.
Recently, Morgan received the devastating diagnosis of colorectal cancer that has metastasized to her liver. Those who know Morgan know her as a woman of immense heart—a loving wife to Ryan and a deeply devoted mother to her two children, Carmen and Hezekiah. She is the glue of her family, and now she needs us to be her strength.
The Journey So Far
Morgan has already shown incredible bravery. She recently underwent major surgery to remove the primary cancer from her colon and has adjusted to life with a colostomy bag. While the surgery was a success, the hardest part of this battle is just beginning.
The Road Ahead
Morgan’s medical team has placed her port, and she is set to begin aggressive chemotherapy treatments right after the New Year. Because they live in a rural area, every chemo session requires a three-hour round-trip drive. These long days, combined with the physical toll of aggressive treatment, mean that Ryan and the kids need to be by her side more than ever.
How You Can Help
The financial burden of travel, medical bills, and time away from work is the last thing this family should have to worry about while fighting for Morgan’s life. We are asking for donations to help cover:
* Fuel and travel expenses for the 100+ mile trips to the treatment center.
* Medical expenses not covered by insurance.
* Daily living costs to allow Ryan to be present for Morgan’s care and for their children.
Prayers & Encouragement
If you are unable to donate, please lift her up in your prayers as we all know the powerful will of our Mighty Lord. Please lift Morgan, Ryan, Carmen, and Hezekiah up in your thoughts. We also encourage you to leave words of support and positivity here for Morgan to read during her recovery.
Thank you for your prayers, kindness, your generosity, and for standing with Morgan as she begins this fight.
With deepest gratitude,
The Espinoza/Gonzales Family
