Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but I’m here because I truly need help.

I was recently diagnosed with *Stage IV Lung Adenocarcinoma*, which has metastatisized to my brain, liver, and bones.

While this has been overwhelming, I’ve also been given something to hold onto — my cancer has an **EGFR mutation**, which means I can be treated with targeted therapy like **Osimertinib**. I am starting treatment and doing everything I can to fight this.

Over the next few weeks, I will be undergoing radiation and ongoing treatment through City of Hope. This means traveling **246 miles round trip** for care, multiple times, while also managing the side effects of treatment.

Because of being away and needing treatment, with the side effects and needing to heal; I will be going down to *60% of my income*, and the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.

I am asking for help to cover:

* Rent and utilities

* Car payments and gas for long-distance treatment travel

* Medical bills

* Food and daily living expenses

* Existing loan payments

I have set a goal of $11,300 to help me stay afloat during this critical time so I can focus on what matters most — fighting this and staying here for my children!!!
