Just before Christmas and her 16th birthday, Gianna was diagnosed with Stage 4 DSRCT — a rare and aggressive cancer.
Her and her parents world changed overnight.
Gianna has just finished her second round of chemotherapy, and doctors have shared that the treatment is expected to become more intense and aggressive as the fight continues. Despite everything, she faces each day with strength, courage, and unwavering faith that humbles everyone around her.
What is DSRCT?
Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT) is a very rare and highly aggressive cancer that primarily affects children, teenagers, and young adults. Because early symptoms are often vague or mistaken for common illnesses, it is frequently diagnosed at advanced Stage 4, as it was for Gianna.
DSRCT usually begins in the abdomen and can spread rapidly to other organs, making treatment extremely complex and challenging. Due to how rare this cancer is, research, awareness, and treatment options are limited, which makes the journey even harder for families like ours.
Hope for Gianna
Gianna’s journey represents the strength, resilience, and faith of children fighting battles no child should ever have to face. She is more than her diagnosis — she is a daughter, a sister, a light, and a fighter.
How You Can Help
We are asking for support during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly toward Gianna’s medical treatment, hospital stays, medications, travel and living expenses, and helping us create meaningful memories during this journey.
Every prayer, share, and donation makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with Gianna and her family.
Your love and support mean more than words can express.
