In August of 2025, Clint went into the hospital and found out his donated kidney he received in 2012 was failing. He was put onto hemo dialysis. At the end of February, he got onto peritoneal dialysis so he could do it at home and have more of a normal life. On March 21, the catheter with a peritoneal got infected and he ended up in the hospital again. He was treated and discharged on March 24. On Monday, March 30, he woke up at 1am and said he didn't know if he was having a hallucination or not. He said "whenever I look around the room, it looks like it is falling apart one piece at a time".

I took him the the ER at 1:30am. The doctors took 2 CT scans and found out he had a hole in his colon and said that have been causing the hallucinations. They did emergency surgery and removed 6-8 inches of colon. I stayed at the hospital until he got back to his room. He was loopy, considering he was coming off of anesthesia and on pain meds, but alert. I left to go home so he could rest.

About an hour later, the hospital called me and told me I need to come back, they didn't say why. So I did. Once I got to his floor, I ran into his nurse and she informed me that he had coded. They performed compressions and gave him medicine and got him back.

We went down to the ICU where he was still critical, as they were still hooking him up to all kinds of machines.

Currently, he is sedated and is on a ventilator.

His CT scan came back clear. EEG is showing slow moving brain signals but that could also be because of the medicines he is on currently.

We are waiting for a MRI to confirm.

He has a long road ahead of him for recovery. We have two children and he is not done being their dad. We are fighting for him and so are his doctors.
