Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I never imagined I’d be creating a GoFundMe, but my family is facing a crisis we can’t get through alone.

I live with Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) and narcolepsy, both of which have made it difficult for me to work. I do my best every day to manage my health while caring for our three wonderful children, but the limitations and medical challenges have been overwhelming.

Recently, things became even more difficult when my husband was laid off from his job, and our only car has some issues needing fixed. With no income coming in, we are struggling to cover even the most basic essentials. We are now at risk of losing our home.

We have applied for every resource we can think of, but the process is slow and our situation is urgent. We’re doing everything we can to keep our family stable, but right now, we truly need help.

We are asking for financial support to help us get back on our feet, to cover:

Rent and preventing homelessness

Food and basic necessities for our children

Utilities and essential bills

Medical-related expenses that continue to pile up

Car repairs so my husband can get to interviews and return to work
