I am reaching out to you today on behalf of a dear brother in the Lord and one of my best friends, as well as his family who is facing an urgent and heartbreaking crisis. Both husband and wife are blind, with Frank, the husband, being elderly and grappling with health concerns. They have three children under the age of 18 still living at home, and their world has been turned upside down since the wife was laid off from a well-paying job due to the government shutdown. Despite their best efforts, they have exhausted all their savings just to keep a roof over their heads, relying now solely on Frank’s retirement income and the wife’s small disability check. This month marks the last time they can afford rent, and the threat of eviction looms heavily over them.
Moving would be a devastating hardship for this family, as they would need to relearn their entire surroundings and adapt all over again—an incredibly daunting task given their blindness. They also depend deeply on their two dogs and cats for daily support and comfort. This is more than just losing a home; it’s losing a sanctuary of safety and stability for Frank, his wife, and their children. I pray with all my heart that you will consider helping them through this critical time. Your generosity can bring hope and security back into their lives when they need it most.
They truly believe in the Goodness of God and seek him for an answer; the Bible tells us you have knot because you ask knot.
