Hope and Prayers for Brenda

On Saturday April 10th, our mom Brenda went to the ER due to looking jaundice and being extremely bloated. She ended up being hospitalized that day while the doctors ran tests to try to figure out what was causing it.
As the week went on, she started having trouble breathing which eventually caused her to be put on a ventilator. She was moved to ICU on Wednesday, April 14th and is still there as we speak.
She ended up having a blockage around her gallbladder and pancreas which resulted to toxins taking over her body and causing her to have multiple organ failure including her liver, respiratory system, and kidneys. The doctors are doing dialysis and are hoping that as they get her kidneys functioning again, then hopefully the other organs will begin functioning as well and in time she would be able to be taken off of the life support that she is currently on for each of these organs.
She is fighting hard and each day changes with how her body is reacting, whether it be in a positive or negative direction. She is currently requiring 90% oxygen (give or take depending on the moment) and has multiple IVs and tubes going in through different parts of her body.
This woman is fighting for her life. Her husband (our stepdad) Joey, has been so strong and and positive through the whole process. He has been by her side each day and is doing everything he can each day to try to ease the pain for her and her family.
We don't know what the next day holds, but we are praying with everything we have that a miracle will be used on her. It is not in our nature to ask for help, but we wanted to make this go fund me page to do everything we can to help Joey and our mom get through this beyond difficult and trying time. If there is anything you can do, even a simple prayer, we would be more than grateful and appreciative. Thank you so much for your kindness.
