Please Help An Abused Cat Mama in TN

In Clarksville, Tennessee, a sweet, pregnant cat, now named Hope, was dumped in a rural area. With no food, no shelter, and no one to care for her, she did the best she could: she found a place to hide and gave birth to four tiny kittens. She was simply trying to survive.

Scavenging for scraps, Hope encountered danger. A property owner saw Hope, and instead of helping her, he decided to rid himself of her and her newborn kittens in the cruelest of ways. He shot the little mama, and hoped her babies would die without her. Hope huddled beneath a rusted car, trying to protect them as the shots rang out.

A small miracle then happened. A family member witnessed the cruelty and contacted the Humane Society. Our community has no paid staff to undertake rural rescue. Instead, the Humane Society reached out to us—Cats Meow TNR, a small, volunteer-based rescue in Clarksville dedicated to helping forgotten community cats. We specialize in trapping, spaying and neutering, and rehabilitating cats from the hardest-to-reach places: empty lots, junkyards, rural properties. We do not receive any city or state funding, and we rely entirely on donations and the compassion of people like you.

Hope Needs Your Help

Today, Hope and her kittens are safe—but they still need urgent care, and we cannot do this alone. Our total costs are $2,800. Your support will directly fund:

• $1,200 for veterinary care, potential wound cleaning, antibiotics, Hope’s spay and vaccinations.

• $500 for the spay/neuter, vaccination, and care of her four kittens.

• $1,000 to trap, fix, and help the remaining 10 cats on the property still in danger.
