My name is Waseem, and I am a student trying with all my strength to keep my family standing through a life filled with fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty. I never imagined that one day I would have to write these words and ask strangers for help just so my family can eat, drink clean water, and survive another day with dignity.

We are living through extremely difficult days where even the simplest necessities have become heavy burdens for us — food, clean water, rent, and medicine for my sick father. The most painful thing for me is watching my father suffer while I feel powerless to provide the treatment and comfort he deserves after spending his whole life sacrificing for our family. Sometimes it feels like my heart breaks a little more every single day as I watch my family trying to hide their fear and sadness just to protect each other from more pain.

There are nights when we cannot sleep because of stress and fear about tomorrow. We constantly think about how we will afford food, how we will pay rent, how we will buy medicine, and how we will continue surviving under all this pressure. Living a normal life has become a distant dream for us.

Despite everything, I am still trying to hold onto hope. I am trying to stay strong for my family and not give up no matter how heavy this burden becomes. I am not asking for luxury or comfort — I am only asking for a chance to protect my family from falling apart and to give them a little safety and peace.
