Hope and Help for Vilma Varvaro & Her Family

Vilma Varvaro, a dear friend to many, has recently received some heartbreaking news regarding her husband, Anthony. Having been sick for a while, Anthony was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Stage 3 - a severe cancer of the bone marrow which causes him to be immobile and in tremendous pain. Anthony is currently receiving chemotherapy and resides in a rehabilitation center where they are working on managing his pain and mobility.

Vilma works a full time job plus two part time jobs, in addition to caring for her son James who is currently in the 8th grade. Those of you who know Vilma know what a hard worker and fiercely independent person she is, with a huge heart. She is a beautiful, caring person, who is always reaching out to help those in need here, as well as in the Philippines. She is a humble individual that never asks for help for herself. Vilma has finally agreed to accept our loving support.

At this time, Vilma is facing substantial medical bills, including ambulance transportation, on top of her family’s basic living expenses, responsibilities which now rest entirely on her shoulders. Vilma is overwhelmed with all of the obligations she is suddenly faced with, but with help from all of us who love and care about her, Vilma and her family will feel comforted and more secure during this difficult time.

Let us come together and show how much we care. Any donations will be deeply appreciated. Vilma also will appreciate prayers to sustain Anthony, herself and James, that they may continue to keep up with their obligations, and for healthcare providers to be able to alleviate Anthony’s pain.
