Hope and Help for the Wilson Family!

Hi!

We're the Forbes, Wilson, McGinnis, and Cassidy Family and we're reaching out to friends and family to support and help our sister, Carolyn and her husband David Wilson through a catastrophic health crisis. David was diagnosed this week with Stage 4, Adenocarcinoma Cancer. This medical emergency is a shock and they are just learning what they might be up against as a family. What is clear is that David will not be able to work for potentially a considerable amount of time as he has had surgery and is facing aggressive chemotherapy. We hope through this effort to raise enough money to get the family through the next three to six months of expenses as David embarks upon treatment.

David, Carolyn and their son, James, moved late last year to Greenville, PA where David and Carolyn attended Thiel College, met and fell in love. Formerly regular Army, David has not secured full time work yet, but works at Home Depot. Carolyn, who is a disabled American with Epilepsy, works at a retirement community, but is cannot work full time due to her health problems. David has been enjoying teaching 16-year-old James how to drive. Carolyn is unable to drive with her diagnosis. Unknown to them both is how much Carolyn will be able to work, and how she will get there, while providing intensive care for David throughout his treatment.

For the foreseeable future, David and Carolyn will have little to no income to cover their mortgage, food costs, and other monthly bills. Fortunately they have insurance through the Affordable Care Act. It is their day-to-day, month-to-month, bills that they will need assistance with. This close-knit family is at very real risk of losing their home through this crisis. While their faith is strong, they simply don't know what the future will hold or how long this battle for David's health will last.

We are trying to help keep this family afloat financially as they try to stay hopeful and positive. Please help us in our efforts to sustain them. Every single donation will allow David to focus on the work of healing without the stress of worrying about his family. And it will allow Carolyn to care for David without financial fear compounding her concern for David and James.
