Hello, My name is Alicia I am a 35-year-old single mother of two amazing/annoying lovable children. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer which has already spread to my Lymph nodes. I found the lump on my breast right before Thanksgiving and saw my doctor the next day and she got me an appointment for a mammogram by the time that appointment came up in two weeks the lump had seem to have grown and little did I know but I didn't have one lump but five at the time. I already had a feeling it was cancer and have managed to keep it together mentally so far because I have faith that I am going to beat it. I am doing the most aggressive chemo treatment and I am going to have both breasts removed to try to prevent it from happening again. On both sides of my family Cancer hits hard I am the 16th person in my family to have cancer and out of all those people only 6 of us are still alive. I am creating this account because as much as I try to still go to work and my family and friends and coworkers support me I am still not able to do like I use to because of the Chemo treatment. Even now as I type this I am currently in a hospital bed now going on 4 days because, after my chemo treatment, I got Covid-19 which I have no white blood cells to fight against. I am remaining positive because that is all I can do pray and be positive. I have been through way more than anyone at my age from domestics, car accidents, etc but I am a survivor and I hate asking for help this is the one time I am going to have to put my pride aside and beg for some help to keep my children and home in order while I am going through the hardest thus far part of my life.
