Raising funds for integrative and out-of-pocket medical/cancer treatments.

We (Angelique, Jamie, and Michelle) are starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Cammie, who is currently preparing to travel from Hawaii to Irvine, California, for cancer treatment.

After being diagnosed with both Colon cancer and Ovarian cancer in her 30’s, and successfully going through multiple treatments, including multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation, she is now seeking out integrative medicine.

True to who she is, she has approached this journey with humility, strength, and an unwavering trust in God. If you know her, you know she is one of the most selfless people you’ll ever meet—always thinking of how to help someone else before herself.

In fact, she resisted starting a gofundme for the first treatment because she believes that other causes deserve more support more than she does and was concerned about the financial well being of others.

Cammie felt that she had to “work” for support, rather than asking for it. She has already gone above and beyond by organizing closet swaps and fundraising events. Putting in enormous time and effort—even while struggling from the side effects of treatment.

But the reality is that cancer treatment comes with significant expenses that exceed the fundraised amounts. Cammie and her husband will be traveling from Hawaii to California for her cancer treatment, which comes with cost for long term housing, in addition to the treatment cost itself.

Many people have reached out asking how they can help—whether to send meals, contribute, or support in some way. This GoFundMe is simply a way to make that support easy and direct for anyone who wants to help but may not know how.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Cancer treatments costs, as well as additional follow up treatments (Total estimated out-of-pocket cost is $45,000 for treatments)

• Airfare between Hawaii and Irvine, CA for this and any future treatments

• Housing while she undergoes treatment in Irvine

• Related travel and living expenses during her care
