Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser for my mom, Trina Ellis, who has been battling trigeminal neuralgia since July 2024, a condition often described as one of the most painful disorders a person can experience. It affects the nerves in her face and can turn even simple, everyday things like talking, eating, or even feeling a light breeze into intense pain.

After months of trying to manage this condition, she is scheduled to undergo Microvascular Decompression (MVD) surgery on April 23 in Nashville, Tennessee. This procedure offers hope for long-term relief by relieving the pressure on the nerve, and we are so hopeful that this will finally give her some quality of life back.

Because this surgery requires travel and recovery time, there are a lot of added expenses. My mom amd her fiancé Sean, will be traveling to Nashville for the procedure, and I will be traveling from Carson City to be there with her and help care for her during recovery. Costs include flights, lodging, medical expenses, and time away from work.
