Hello everyone, my name is Jessica and this fundraiser is for my daughter, Tiya.

Tiya was diagnosed in February of 2024 with Congestive Heart Failure Stage C along with low ejection fraction. Heart failure goes from A to D. She is 34 years old and hasn't been able to work since her diagnosis.

We have applied for disability, but it is an extremely taxing process and takes a very long time. I have retained a disability attorney for her recently, and he has reviewed everything and is taking the wheel with that piece of this crazy puzzle. Even he is floored by all that she has going on health-wise.

She had a heart procedure on November 11, 2025, and we had high hopes that the procedure would help her. Unfortunately, it was not successful. We are presently not certain what the next step will be.

What I do know is that this is my baby... And quite frankly, all of this literally feels like it's killing my soul. I cannot begin to imagine what she is truly feeling.

She is my daughter and also a mother to the sweetest 14-year-old you will ever meet!

Tiya has absolutely handled everything so far with total grace. Unfortunately, this issue has caused multiple other additional issues for her. I can see that the additional stress of no income is starting to take a toll on her, and I am just beside myself for her. She never complains about her circumstances; she only hopes and prays for better days as well as seeing her child, my grandchild, graduate high school.

God knows that if I could take it all away, I would.

I asked the heart failure specialist to take my heart so that she lives. I thoroughly comprehend that means ending myself, but I would do that this very second if it were possible. Unfortunately, we are not a match as she has a rare blood type.

We have muddled through financially since her diagnosis. It breaks my heart for this to happen to her or to anyone for that matter. Her main concern is her child and me. She feels guilty for all that I have had to do. I would do it over and over though!
