Hope and Healing for the Eden Family
Donation protected
The Eden family is one of the hardest working families around. They also are amazing party and celebration planners. In 2020, as a family, they opened the Eden Event Center—a dream realized. Covid struck, but they adapted and over came. On November 17th, a family’s nightmare occurred; their 23-year old son was murdered at their business. After 4 months, there are no leads and no justice.
It is too devastating to return to the business. They are facing a mountain of financial debt not only from their son’s death, but also from shutting down their business that never had the chance to succeed.
Families of the victims of violent crime in Maryland receive $250 for crime scene clean up. Their actual cost for clean up is $9000.
Even though, Tressa and Chinor Eden have closed their business, they have not been able to break their lease. They are currently exploring all legal options, but they currently owe $12,000 in back rent.
I would sincerely appreciate your financial support of this GoFundMe for Tressa and Chinor Eden. I know that money is especially tight at this time, so please know that even $5 helps. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them.
