Hi friends. I'm trying not to sob all over the break room table at work as I write this, but here goes. Our bestest sweet kitty Casey has been having some issues. Her back legs aren't working quite right and she has bladder control issues. We took her in for a full workup at the vet. Her blood work is all fine for a kitty her age. So it likely means we are looking at something neurological. Which means roughly $450 to see a specialist to diagnose and possibly thousands more if we need more diagnostics and/or it's treatable for a kitty her age. To be clear, she is very much with it cognitively. She's eating, drinking, purring, and loving her cuddles. It is not within my capabilities to give up on her when she does not seem ready to give up. However, as many of my friends and family know, we have been struggling financially, as I have been looking unsuccessfully for work for a year and a half. I managed to find a part time retail type job, and that's helping, but we're still struggling big time. If any of you can help out at all, I will be in your debt forever.
