I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of a strong, loving mom, Shanice Lussier, who is going through one of the most difficult seasons of her life—and needs support now more than ever.

Over the past four months, her life has been turned completely upside down by serious and unexpected medical issues. What began as a severe kidney infection quickly escalated into a dangerous E. coli infection that required a long hospital stay. When she was finally discharged, she had to continue intensive treatment at home through a PICC line—administering medication to herself twice a day.

Shortly after, things became even more frightening.

She began experiencing multiple grand mal seizures, some so severe they caused serious physical injury and required additional hospitalizations. Doctors believe these seizures were linked to the medications she was prescribed. Since then, her daily life has been deeply affected—she struggles with memory loss, balance issues, and ongoing health challenges that make even simple tasks difficult.

Because of this, she has been unable to work for four months, draining her savings just to keep a roof over her head and pay basic bills. While she’s recently been cleared to return to work, it’s only in a very limited capacity—nowhere near enough to cover her expenses.

At the same time, she is facing an incredibly painful personal battle. After attempting to formalize a custody agreement, her ex-partner filed false allegations against her, resulting in a temporary separation from her child. She is now navigating a legal process to reunite with her daughter—while also paying for legal representation she cannot afford.

Despite everything, she continues to fight every day—with strength, love, and determination to heal and rebuild her life for herself and her child.
