Ruslan is a wonderful young man who became part of our family in 2011 through the incredible gift of adoption. While adoption has brought us immense joy, it can also come with deep challenges. The effects of early trauma have made it hard for Ruslan to fully accept and feel the love that surrounds him. Out of respect for his privacy, I won’t share many details, but we’ve reached a difficult and painful crossroads where we need to find a new living arrangement to help him grow into the man God created him to be. Despite these struggles, our love for Ruslan is unwavering, and we remain deeply committed to supporting his healing and hope for the future.

In June, Ruslan will begin attending a Teen Challenge boarding school in Texas. This Christian therapeutic program is designed to help young people like Ruslan address their trauma, strengthen their faith, and develop the life skills they need to become successful adults. As he approaches adulthood, we see this as our last opportunity to provide him with the support and guidance he needs to thrive. We are praying that this environment will allow the Lord to reach Ruslan and bring about the transformation he so desperately needs.

The funds raised will go directly toward Ruslan's tuition, board, and the cost of the therapeutic program, with a portion set aside for travel expenses to Texas. The program is a year-long commitment and requires significant financial support each month. We are humbly asking for your support.
