Hope and Healing for Peyton's Cancer Journey

We never imagined we would be writing something like this so early in our lives and especially not for our beautiful and smart 24-year-old daughter, Peyton. Recently our world changed in way we were completely unprepared for. Just two days before Christmas, Peyton was given the devastating diagnosis of breast cancer.

At 24 years old cancer is not something you ever expect to face. Peyton was focused on building her future—her career and her life as a future wife and someday a mom. Her dream has always been to earn her nursing degree. She is nurturing and has always puts others before herself. She was on track to complete her nursing program in December 2026 and had begun planning her future with her wonderful fiancé, Jameson. Her fiancé, Jameson is a teacher and loves spending his time coaching baseball at our local high school.

For now, all of those plans are on hold as Peyton begins treatment. Her energy is being redirected towards chemotherapy, recovery, and simply getting through each day. While she is doing everything she can to stay strong and hopeful, the reality of cancer treatment brings emotional, physical, and financial challenges.

Chemotherapy and ongoing care comes with significant expenses—medical bills, insurance deductibles, medications, transportation to appointments, fertility preservation, surgery, and the inability to work due to a compromised immune system. On top of that are everyday living expenses during treatment. While Peyton’s focus needs to be on healing, the financial strain adds an overwhelming layer of stress during an already difficult time.

We created this GoFundMe to help relieve some of that burden so she can focus fully on treatment and recovery. All funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, treatment-related expenses, and basic living costs while she undergoes chemotherapy.

If you are able to donate, please know that no amount is too small and every contribution truly helps. If you’re unable to give financially, sharing this page or keeping Peyton in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.

Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for the kindness, love, and support surrounding our family during this chapter of her life. Peyton is holding onto hope as she takes this journey one step at a time, and we are deeply grateful for each of you.

With gratitude,
The Dalton Family
