Our family is going through one of the hardest times we've ever faced, and it's not easy to share this—but we truly need help.

Our beautiful 13-year-old daughter is currently battling severe depression. She is such a bright, kind, and deeply loved soul, and seeing her struggle like this has been absolutely heartbreaking. Recently, things reached a point we never imagined—we almost lost her. She attempted to take her own life and had to be rushed to the ER by ambulance. It was the most terrifying moment of our lives.

She is now staying in a mental health facility, where she is receiving care and support. Right now, she is expected to stay for at least a week, but her doctors have told us that she may need to remain longer depending on her progress. While we are grateful she is safe and getting help, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.

Both my husband and I have had to take time off work to be there for her, which has resulted in lost wages. On top of that, we are facing mounting medical expenses—from the ambulance ride and ER visit to her stay at the facility, as well as the medications and ongoing therapy she will need after she comes home.

To make things even more difficult, we currently do not have insurance. Every bill is out of pocket, and it's becoming more than we can manage on our own.

Our daughter is loved beyond words—by her father, her mother, and her brother, and by so many others whose lives she touches. She is not alone in this fight, and we are determined to do everything we can to help her heal and find her light again.
