The Fletcher family is asking for a blanket of prayers and support as they face every parent’s worst nightmare.

Earlier this week, Nolan (5) went in for a routine pediatrician well visit. During his exam, the doctor felt a mass in his abdomen and sent the family to the ER. After multiple tests and scans, doctors discovered a large abdominal mass. Because of its size and unclear placement, they still don’t know exactly where it’s attached — and the results so far are concerning.

Nolan is currently admitted to OU Children’s Hospital under the Hematology and Oncology (HemOnc) team. He recently underwent surgery for a biopsy, port placement, and bone marrow testing as doctors work to determine what this mass is and how to treat it. The family is now waiting for answers and praying for healing.
