Dear family & friends, I never thought I’d need to write one of these for my own family, but know I write this with some humility and great pain. My brother, Neil, was medevaced to Providence Medical in Anchorage on 1/21 due to a life threatening infection that has taken over his heart and lungs (as of now). He is currently sedated and being pumped full of antibiotics and other meds in hopes to get him stable enough to receive heart surgery, but even with that, he has a long road ahead to recovery and regardless, he’s at very high risk. Any financial help will go towards helping with the unforeseen medical bills, as well as with expenses related to my family being able to be here in Anchorage with Neil during this time.
