My cat recently got diagnosed with diabetes. Upon her first dose of insulin, she became extremely lethargic and wasn’t eating or drinking. After a visit to the vet she is in ketoacidosis, and has to be hospitalized for around two days. She will be taken to the ER overnight to be watched to make sure the treatment is working.
