Our family needs your help.
Our 16-year-old son Leeland Harris has been fighting osteosarcoma since June 2025. He has faced surgeries, treatments, countless hospital stays, and more pain than any child should ever have to endure. Through it all, he has never stopped fighting.
Today, his cancer has spread throughout his lungs and has caused serious complications, including fluid around his lung that has made it difficult for him to breathe. We have been told his disease is extremely advanced, and we know that every day is precious.
As his parents, we refuse to stop searching for hope.
We are urgently trying to connect with doctors, researchers, sarcoma specialists, and cancer centers anywhere in the United States—or anywhere in the world—who may have experience treating advanced metastatic osteosarcoma. We are looking for clinical trials, innovative therapies, compassionate-use treatments, or any option that could give our son another chance.
We're asking everyone who sees this to please help us by sharing this post. You never know who might see it. It could reach a doctor, researcher, hospital, or someone who knows of a treatment or specialist we haven't found yet.
If you have any information, connections, or know of someone who treats advanced osteosarcoma, please send me a private message.
Our son is more than a diagnosis. He is kind, strong, brave, and deeply loved. We are determined to fight for him for as long as there is hope.
Please keep him in your prayers, and please share his story. One share could lead to the connection that changes everything.
