Our dearest soul dog Layla is in need of support with medical bills. Recently, it was discovered that she has a cancerous mass and requires surgical removal, which is scheduled for December 30, 2025.

The cost prior to scheduling this surgery was great (beyond our goal), continues to grow, and will increase further with additional tests and medical interventions. Along with this, we wait to find out whether the mass is benign or metastatic. The emotional toll it’s taken has been great. For thirteen years, she’s been me and her dad’s heart and purpose. Feeling lost can’t summarize the depth of this hit. Until a month ago, she was a healthy and well dog, a puppy angel in a greying suit.

Although crushed, we continue to do everything we can to keep her in our lives until pain, quality of life, or discomfort require hard choices and take her from us.
