My name is Keturah, and I am starting this fundraiser because I am facing a serious health challenge that has greatly impacted my daily life. I have been diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, a condition where brain tissue extends into the spinal canal. This pressure on my brain and nervous system causes ongoing symptoms that affect my ability to function normally.
Living with Chiari Malformation has been incredibly difficult. The headaches, pressure, and neurological symptoms can be overwhelming, and simple daily activities often become exhausting. Some days it feels like my body is working against me, but I continue to hold on to hope and faith through it all.
After consultations and medical evaluation, Chiari decompression surgery has been recommended as the best option to relieve the pressure on my brain and improve my quality of life. This surgery could give me the chance to live with less pain, regain strength, and return to a more normal life.
Unfortunately, the financial burden surrounding this procedure is significant. Between medical bills, testing, hospital costs, medications, and the time needed to recover, the expenses add up quickly. During recovery I may also need help with everyday costs while I focus on healing.
This is why I am humbly asking for support.
If you feel led to help, any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward my medical expenses and recovery. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser or keeping me in your prayers would mean just as much to me.
Your kindness, prayers, and encouragement remind me that I am not walking this journey alone. I truly believe that with support, faith, and the right care, brighter and healthier days are ahead.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for being part of this journey with me.
With gratitude,
Keturah
