On Saturday, May 16, 2026, Kenna suffered a traumatic brain injury while on vacation in Mexico following a golf cart accident. She underwent emergency surgery for a life-threatening brain hemorrhage. Thankfully, the neurosurgeon was able to stop the bleeding and relieve the pressure on her brain, saving her life.
Since surgery, Kenna has remained in a medically induced coma to allow her brain time to heal. She continues to be closely monitored by her medical team as they focus on keeping her stable and giving her the best possible chance at recovery. There are still many unknowns ahead.
Right now, our main focus is getting Kenna stable and strong enough to be medically airlifted back to the United States once her doctors determine it is safe for her to travel, so she can continue receiving the care she needs closer to home and surrounded by her family and support system. At this time, the road ahead and what recovery will look like remain unknown, but we are staying hopeful and taking things one day at a time.
We know so many people have reached out asking how they can support Kenna and her family during this incredibly difficult time, and we are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and encouragement. We will also use this page to continue sharing updates with friends and family as we navigate the days ahead together.
We kindly ask that, at this time, people refrain from reaching out directly to Kenna’s family as they focus all of their energy on being by her side. Please continue to check this page for updates and ways to support.
