Hi, my name is Katelyn Morfis. I'm 28 years old, and I have a 6-month-old baby boy and 2 beautiful stepkids. On January 21st, 2026, I was diagnosed with throat cancer. They found a mass that is sitting on my vocal cord and obstructing my airway. This past week, I have undergone surgery to have a tracheostomy tube placed to allow me to start chemo treatment and also allow me to breathe. Doctors are hopeful with radiation and chemo I will be able to minimize the cancer and be able to save my voice box completely.
