My niece, Karín Vizcarra, is a young woman in Lima, Peru, full of dreams and just beginning her journey in life. About two and a half years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer, and our entire family and her friends are united in hope and faith that she will overcome this challenge. Karín has always believed that words have life, and her strength and spirit inspire us every day. Even though she faces moments of fragility, we know she has the courage to succeed.
