We are coming together to support Kailey, a beloved daughter, student, and friend, during the most unimaginable time.

Kailey is a sophomore at Saginaw Valley University, where she is pursuing her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. Anyone who knows her knows her gentle heart, her love for reading, her cat, and her not-so-secret obsession with Harry Styles. She is kind, thoughtful, and full of light—the kind of person who leaves a positive mark on everyone she meets.

On February 2nd, Kailey suffered a sudden cardiac event and was rushed to Mott Children’s Hospital. Since that day, she has remained hospitalized and has not woken up. Her family is facing every moment with hope, faith, and strength while navigating an incredibly painful and uncertain time.

Kailey’s father is not only a devoted parent, but also my coworker and friend. This fundraiser is meant to help ease the financial burden of medical expenses, travel, time off work, and ongoing care, so the family can focus entirely on being by Kailey’s side.
