On September 25, Jordan was rushed to the hospital by ambulance with extreme abdominal pain. After several tests, doctors discovered that he had diverticulitis and a tear in his colon. They immediately started him on antibiotics, but his condition didn’t improve as expected. Further scans revealed an abscess that required a drain, and thankfully, once it was placed, the antibiotics began to work.
Jordan spent 10 long days in the hospital, missing his son’s first birthday during that time. We were all so relieved when he was finally able to return home — but unfortunately, his recovery took another turn.
Just one week later, on October 12, Jordan had to be readmitted to the hospital. Doctors found another abscess, but this time they haven’t been able to place a drain.
This journey has already been incredibly difficult, and the road ahead will require significant time off work, extensive recovery, and continued hospital stays.
Through it all, Brittany has been an absolute superhero — continuing to work, caring for their 13-month-old son, and managing everything while being 7 months pregnant.
This family means the world to me. They are facing an overwhelming amount of stress, uncertainty, and medical challenges right now. Any support — whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this page — would mean so much to help them focus on healing and caring for each other during this time.
We’re all holding onto hope that Jordan will make a full and speedy recovery.
