Jessica Johnson, or JJ, is how she is well known to many. Loud, fun, and smiling! She's my big sister and the oldest sister to three other siblings: Eli, Adam, and Darryl. Helping raise us with my single mom, she's been like a second mom to us all and a great friend to a lot of people over the years.

On January 15th, she suffered a stroke and has a bleed on her brain stem. She is in Neurocritical care at Southeast Health. She has a feeding tube and has been ventilated. As I write this today, her sedation has been reduced significantly, and she has responded to questions from nurses and family.

JJ doesn't have much, but she does have the love and support of her family and friends. Please pray for her, her daughters, Alexis and Kendall, her infant granddaughters, Hollis and Merritt, and the rest of our family. Thank you in advance for your support during this time.
