Hope and Healing for Issabella

Amy and Jeff Craine took their 5 year old daughter Issabella in for medical attention in Tulsa, OK on September 13th for a fever in combination with leg pain. After testing, she was admitted on September 18th. Since then, the medical team has been trying to confirm a diagnosis as high power antibiotics and other treatments have not been helping. Issabella has continued to become sicker and sicker including a prolonged fever of over 107. She has now been transferred to OU Childrens Medical in Oklahoma City, OK where she will undergo an open bone marrow biopsy surgical procedure which as you can imagine will not only be a big but very painful surgery. The urgency in this is attempting to prevent the infection from reaching the bloodstream as the antibiotics are not working. At this time doctors believe malignancy will be the diagnosis; however, this will be confirmed one week from surgery. Doctors have told the family that Issabella will receive all treatment at OU Children's in OKC likely over the course of many months. 

As Amy has had to stop working, the family of 8 are now having all expenses associated with this illness such as medical bills, travel, food, and lodging in OKC (likely for many months to come) plus their normal everyday expenses suddenly coming out of one income.
