My name is Thao , and my sister Hanh aka Thy has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She was diagnosed on March 11 and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. My sister is one of the strongest, most caring people I know. She’s the kind of person who supports everyone—no questions asked, no hesitation, just utter love. Whether it’s family or friends, she has always been the one to give, comfort, and lift others up.

Now, she’s facing one of the hardest battles of her life: breast cancer. After hearing those words changed everything. In an instant, our entire world filled with fear, uncertainty, and countless questions. But if there’s one thing I know about my sister, it’s that she is a fighter. I watched as she fought through pain falling off the bike as a child and the emergency c-section for her first born. Now, she is facing this diagnosis with courage, grace, and a strength that continues to inspire me every single day. She continues to inspire me with her positivity, hopefulness, and endless love.
