My name is Manika, and I am raising money on behalf of my dog Gus. He is my son, I myself am fixed and have always known my time, love and energy would be put toward a fur baby family. I am grateful that I not only have my human life companion, but also fortunate to have had such an amazing dog, Gus is truly one of the goodest boys.
He is 8 years old this year. His a pupcup king, food loving fool, and "happy go lucky" even on the saddest days. His gotcha day is on 4/20 and he has brought so much joy, comfort, laughter and adventure into our life.
He recently went in for what was thought to be a blocked anal gland that has now been determined to be a tumor. We are needing to not only get a biopsy and X-ray done, we need it removed completely and hopefully get a negative result back, but if it's cancerous we will be facing that hurdle with his recovery.
We are asking for help with his treatment and recovery, while we hope for the best case, we want to be prepared to take action on the advice and treatment plans requested or recommended by his vet. She quoted into the thousands for him to get the care he needs to stop this while we've caught it early enough. It's smaller, but growing rapidly and I would appreciate more immediate assistance while we adjust to financially transitioning to focusing our funds on his treatment and taking care of our everyday/month demands.
My partner is on the spectrum, high functioning with crippling anxieties, and works remotely from home doing his part to cover our home bills and assisting me with bills/groceries and saving for our tiny home. We just paid off our RV after losing our home during Covid.
I am a traveling pet-sitter who works very hard to maintain fair prices and set myself apart from others with my high volume of clients, positive and consistent referrals for my cleaning, pet-parent goodies and connection/bond I create with their pets! I work hard investing not only into myself, family and life, but also into my small business. I am going into my 4th year now with immense gratitude for where I am, and full of excitement and anticipation for where I am headed. I know things will only continue to get better and this is just a season. Though, at this time we are not in a spot to put down all the money needed for Gus to get more rapid response care and treatment.
If you are able to donate we would greatly appreciate the help.
