On Saturday, February 7th, I had to rush my newest member of my little family to the ER due to a high fever and respiratory distress. Ginger had about 100ml of fluid surrounding her lungs affecting this. After some tests, the doctor explained to me that she most likely has FIP also known a Feline Infectious Peritonitis. FIP has been known as a fatal disease with only some treatment on the black market until recently where the FDA approved a treatment for this disease. Unfortunately this treatment is an expensive 84 day process. As a college student who lives on their own while going to work, this is extremely stressful situation . With the treatment being almost $3000, I wanted to try to raise money for Gingers treatment. I would really appreciate your support and generosity and I know Ginger would too! Thank you !
