Life can change in an instant and unfortunately, this happened to Grace.

Ethan, Grace's son, is currently in the ICU fighting for his life out of state. He is currently sedated, on a ventilator, and facing serious complications affecting his brain, kidneys, liver, and lungs. His body becomes unstable when he starts to wake up, requiring doctors to repeatedly sedate him to keep him safe. His organs are struggling, and the medical team is working tirelessly to manage each moment. The doctors describe the next steps and care plan as a slow and repetitive cycle of sedation, observation, and gradual healing.

Grace has had to travel out of state from California to be by her son’s side and is doing everything in her power to stay strong for him. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming; travel, lodging, time away from work, food, and ongoing medical expenses all add up quickly.
