Hi,
My name is Camila, and anyone who knows me knows I love my animals dearly. Delta is my first dog ever and my world! She has been the light and our beloved baby for the past 9 years. On March 4, 2026, it was a normal day for Delta and me at home, but I noticed she wasn’t acting like herself. I gave her a few minutes to maybe try and be herself, and that’s when she collapsed on me. I only had minutes to save her. I rushed her to the pet emergency where, little did I know, her heart was nearly about to give out on her. After hours of waiting for a diagnosis, they finally told me she had pericardial effusion (blood suffocating her heart). They still don’t know what caused it, but with costs already piling up because of ICU stay and CT scans, we know she will need treatments to further prevent this event from happening again. Anything helps for costs of treatments and hospital stay. I know she is a senior dog, but she’s my world and I know she still has some good years and fight left in her. I am 8 months pregnant and I just want her to live long enough to be able to meet my son.
