Hi friends and family, as many of you may know, our dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma two years ago. He underwent a stem cell transplant in August 2024, and through the grace of God, he has been in remission for a little over a year. When we discovered his diagnoses of multiple myeloma, we also found out that this is what caused him to go into severe kidney failure. Since his diagnosis, he has been receiving dialysis three to five times a week. We have been patient and hopeful for the day that our dad would be able to receive a kidney transplant. After months of testing our dad was recently given a date for his kidney transplant!!! His kidney transplant is scheduled for next week in San Antonio, Texas! We are starting this fundraiser to raise money for recovery costs and time off work while my mom and dad temporarily relocate near the San Antonio area over the next couple of months. This support would allow my parents to focus fully on my dad's recovery process.
