Help Chloe Fight Lyme Disease and Reclaim Her Life

I am Rachel, and I am writing on behalf of my brother, Reid and sister-in-law Chloe. Chloe should be living a full and active life in her 20’s. Instead, she has spent the last six years fighting a devastating and misunderstood illness that has slowly taken her health, her mobility, and her independence.

Chloe is battling advanced Lyme Disease, Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), and mold illness. She now has an opportunity to pursue an intensive 6-week treatment program in Nevada — a treatment we believe could finally help her body fight back after years of suffering.

Unfortunately, insurance will not cover this treatment, and the total cost for medical care and housing during the 6-week stay is approximately $40,000.

We are asking for your help to give Chloe a real chance at healing.

Chloe’s Journey

For the past six years, Chloe has endured severe inflammation, chronic pain, and progressive joint damage that has dramatically changed her life. What began as unexplained symptoms gradually became debilitating.

The disease became so severe she was forced to leave her job, and she and her husband Reid had to move back to Kansas from Texas so they could have family support during this difficult journey.

They have pursued answers relentlessly.

Chloe has sought care from a well-known and highly regarded medical facility, multiple rheumatologists, functional medicine specialists, physical therapists, and other experts. After years of searching, doctors finally identified Lyme disease and the co-infections Bartonella and Babesia as the root cause of her condition. However, despite extensive efforts, they have not been able to successfully eliminate the infection.

The impact on her body has been devastating:

• Severe joint inflammation and chronic pain

• Loss of mobility in her wrists and feet

• Rapid joint degeneration

• Loss of ability to walk long distances

• A full hip replacement (The surgeon told her it was the worst hip they had ever seen for someone her age.)

• An oral surgery to address cavitations where bacteria was hiding

Despite everything, Chloe continues to fight with incredible courage and positivity.

A New Hope

Chloe now has the opportunity to receive intensive treatment at an Integrative Medical Center, a program designed to aggressively target chronic Lyme disease and help reset her immune system. The treatment is rigorous — often described as similar in intensity to chemotherapy — but it offers real hope after years of limited options.

This could be a turning point in her fight.
