Bella is a bright, strong, and beautiful 10-year-old girl who was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has already gone through her first round of radiation and is preparing for surgery this month. Despite her diagnosis, Bella has shown incredible courage.

Bella loves playing soccer, going to school, spending time with her family and friends, and participating in Girls Inc, where she enjoys learning and having fun with her peers. These simple joys bring her moments of happiness even during such a difficult time.

Her mom, Verenice, is a devoted single mother doing everything she can to care for Bella and her two younger siblings. To make sure Bella gets to all her appointments and receives the care she needs, Verenice has had to reduce her work hours. Many of Bella’s appointments and follow-ups are in Los Angeles, which has led to additional expenses including gas, travel, hotel stays, and car maintenance, on top of lost income from time away from work.
