As a parent, nothing prepares you for watching your child fight for their life.

Our sweet Scarlett is getting ready to go into her third open-heart surgery on April 30. She’s just a baby, yet she has already endured more than most people will in a lifetime. Every hospital stay, every procedure, every moment has shown us how incredibly strong she is—but it doesn’t make this any less terrifying.

Right now, our entire world revolves around keeping Scarlett safe and giving her the best chance to heal. Because of her condition, we are unable to work, and we are now having to relocate from Idaho to California so she can receive the critical care she needs. Leaving everything behind while facing this level of uncertainty has been overwhelming, both emotionally and financially.
